Last Updated: December 3, 2024

One of the most popular sports in Singapore is badminton.

This makes it quite a challenge sometimes to be able to find a suitable badminton court.

We have compiled a detailed guide to walk you through how to book a badminton court in Singapore.

These hacks include options like badminton court booking CC (Community Centres), and at ActiveSG Badminton facilities.

You will be able to find the best places in Singapore to play badminton, and how to easily book badminton courts in locations around Singapore.

  • Step 1: Identify where you would like to play badminton

Before you book a badminton court, you should decide where your preferred location is.

You might want to consider whether it is somewhere that your badminton mates would like, whether it is near enough to your home or office, court availability, as well as the quality of the facilities.

There are many badminton courts located at Community Centres (CCs), Sports Halls, and Active SG facilities.

  • Step 2: Decide between Community Centre courts or ActiveSG courts

There are two main options for badminton court booking in Singapore: Badminton court booking CC and ActiveSG Badminton.

Each option has its advantages:

Badminton court booking CC:

  • These are usually located within residential areas, making them readily accessible to those who live in that area.

  • These typically cost less than ActiveSG courts.

  • You can book online, or you can visit the CC to make an in-person booking.

ActiveSG Badminton:

  • These courts are managed by Sport Singapore, and the facilities are well-maintained.

  • It might be easier for you to secure a booking at these courts, because there are more courts available. This increases the chances of getting a booking during the days and times that you want.

  • Online bookings are available, and this makes reservations and payment easy.
